As well as providing instant initial grab, when fully cured, Styccobond F49 develops the ultra-high bond strength required to hold vinyl floorcoverings in place when subject to extremetemperature fluctuations, from -20°C up to +60°C, such as in conservatories or heavily glazed areas, which can cause floorcoverings to expand and contract over time, and lead to ‘tenting’ and gapping.
After application, Styccobond F49 continues to build up strength and creates an extremely strong, water resistant bond. This means it can be used in areas subject to high humidity, such as wet rooms and bathrooms. It has an open time of up to four hours, providing a generous working time for the installation of vinyl floorcoverings, even in large floor areas.
Styccobond F49 is also approved for use with flooring accessories typically applied to vertical surfaces, such as skirting, coving and capping. For these applications, it is available in a 500g Handy Pack size.
