Product Focus: Styccobond F57 Conductive Acrylic Adhesive

In the latest in our series of product spotlights, we take a look at Styccobond F57 Conductive Acrylic Flooring Adhesive.

What is it?
Styccobond F57 is a solvent-free, acrylic adhesive, which is specially formulated for use in conductive flooring installations. It is designed to give strong initial tack and high bond strength, along with good plasticiser resistance. It can be used to secure a wide range of conductive/antistatic PVC-backed floorcoverings and some textile-backed floorcoverings.

Where is it used?
Styccobond F57 is for use in conductive flooring installations where a build up of static electricity may be problematic, such as where delicate electronics are being manufactured.

What’s different about it?
Special conductive fibres in the adhesive mean that when set it will conduct electricity, so when used to install conductive/antistatic floorcoverings, it stops the build-up of electrical charge and conducts any static discharge into the floor.

Something you might not know about the product:
Stopgap F57 can be used over normal underfloor heating systems.
