Product Focus: Stopgap 400 Repair

For this month’s Product Focus, we take a closer look at F. Ball’s rapid-drying repair compound, which now comes in fully recyclable eco pouches.

What is it?

Stopgap 400 Repair is a fast setting, rapid-drying compound for repairing internal floors
prior to the application of Stopgap levelling compounds and the installation of new floorcoverings in light to heavy duty areas.

Where is it used?

It is suitable for repairing cracks and holes, 2-50mm in depth, in awide range of subfloor types, including sand/cement screeds, concrete, sound asphalt, granolithic, terrazzo, epoxy and polyurethane resins, as well as over Stopgap waterproof surface membranes. Its slump free formulation means that it is suitable for use on stairs and steps.

Stopgap 400 Repair is ideal for filling gaps where individual ceramic or quarry tiles are missing. It is protein-free, which means it is also appropriate for use in biologically sensitive areas.

What’s new?

Stopgap 400 Repair is now available in 5kg and 10kg ‘eco pouches’, which are fully recyclable and require significantly less plastic to produce than its existing packaging. The eco pouches are also lighter and easier to handle and deliver extended product shelf-life.
