Flooring Apprentice of the Year 2018: winner announced

Congratulations to Jordan Gayle, of A G Flooring Ltd., in Manchester, who has won the CFA/CFJ Flooring Apprentice of the Year competition 2018.

Contract Flooring Association CEO Richard Catt announced that Jordan was the winner at a presentation ceremony on 9th May at the FITA Training Centre in Loughborough.

Jordan received his award along with a prize package from sponsors, including F. Ball and Co. Ltd., which comprised £3000 worth of specialist tools, clothing and flooring supplies and £1000 in cash, and F. Ball marketing manager Richard Harris presented Jordan with a cheque for £100 on behalf of the company.

The Contract Flooring Association and the Contract Flooring Journal organise the annual competition to raise awareness of apprenticeships in the flooring industry and celebrate the hard work and achievements of flooring apprentices across the UK. F. Ball have been committed sponsors of the award for the past six years.
