F. Ball will be heading to Miami in the USA in June to take part in the Cruise Ship Interiors Expo 2019. Held between 18-20 June at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the show focuses specifically on the interior design and fit-out of cruise ships.
The company will be exhibiting products from its range of Maritime Equipment Directive (MED) certified flooring adhesives and levelling compounds approved for marine and offshore use.
Tested in accordance with IMO standards and carrying the appropriate certification for use in marine floor applications, they have been used on various prestigious vessels such as the ‘Adventurer of the Seas’ and the ‘Queen Mary’ luxury liners.
F. Ball’s range of MED-certified products includes specialist adhesives for the installation of almost every type of decorative floorcovering, including luxury carpet and bespoke vinyl tile designs.
Two of the most popular MED-certified products within the F. Ball range are Styccobond F49 Hybrid PS, a temperature-tolerant, water-based pressure sensitive adhesive, which has strong initial tack and delivers a strong, water-resistant bond, and Stopgap 1200 Pro levelling compound that can be applied directly over old adhesive residues when floorcoverings are being installed as part of a refurbishment.
