F. Ball donation helps Moldova school children

Children at a school in Northern Moldova are benefitting from indoor washroom and toilet facilities for the first time thanks to a UK charity and donations from companies including F. Ball.

A group of over 40 volunteers, from Ipswich-based charity TEECH (Telecoms Eastern European Challenge), travelled to the school, in the village of Hasnasenii Noi, where they converted two classrooms into brand new bathrooms.

Styccobond F44, donated by F. Ball, was used to install new vinyl sheet floorcoverings in each of the new bathrooms. Volunteers installed toilets with cubicle partitions, sinks and hand driers, and painted murals on the both of the bathrooms’ walls.

Commenting on the project, TEECH secretary Holly Field said: “The project at the school in Hasnasenii Noi was a huge success. The volunteers have completely transformed the school’s bathroom facilities, which were previously outside and had no hygiene provisions. We’d like to thank all those who supported the project, including individuals and companies who provided materials and equipment free of charge.”
