The competition offers a platform for the UK’s best carpet fitters to showcase their skills and compete for the coveted title of ‘Carpet Fitter of the Year 2018’. F. Ball are continuing their support by sponsoring the competition again.
This year’s winner’s prizes include £2,000 in cash, a selection of tools and one year’s free NICF Master Fitter membership.
How to enter
To enter the competition, carpet fitters must complete the online application form here and answer a series of technical questions.
Based on the strength of the answers to these questions, a panel of judges will select sixteen entrants to progress to the semi-finals, which will be held over two days at the FITA training centre in Loughborough and involve a number of practical assessments.
The final
Six people will then be chosen by the judges to take part in the final, which will take place at the Flooring Show in Harrogate on Sunday 16th and Monday 17th September 2018.
