Domotex 2020 and CSIE Europe

F. Ball is increasingly attending international exhibitions as it continues to extend its presence in new global markets.

In December, the company exhibited products from its range of Maritime Equipment Directive (MED) certified flooring adhesives and levelling compoundsat the Cruise Ships Interiors Expo Europe, in Barcelona. This followed a positive reception at the show’s American counterpart, in Miami, earlier in the year.

This month, F. Ball showcased the latest innovations in subfloor preparation products and adhesives for floorcoverings at the world’s largest floorcoverings exhibition, Domotex, in Hannover, Germany. These included a preview of its soon-to-launch one-part, heavy-duty adhesive for internal and external applications in the most demanding environments, Styccobond F73 PLUS.

As it explores new international business development opportunities, F. Ball placed particular emphasis on this year’s exhibition. The entire export team attended the show, including newly-appointed export managers Steve Perry, covering the Americas, and Gareth Lewis, who covers the Asia Pacific region, along with F. Ball export business manager Jonathan Goold, who is responsible for Europe, Africa and the Middle East area.

Mark Hughes, F. Ball managing director, said: “Domotex continues to be one of the most important events in the flooring industry calendar as we increasingly expand into new global territories. The volume of visitors to the stand means that increased investment in this year’s exhibition has really paid off. It was great to meet visitors from around the world, including new and existing customers.”
