F. Ball Centre of Excellence
As the UK’s leading manufacturer of flooring adhesives and subfloor preparation products, we believe that we have a responsibility to promote best practice in floorcovering installation and reinforce the positive reputation of our industry.
For this reason, all flooring professionals can attend training courses at the purpose-built F. Ball Centre of Excellence training centre at our Staffordshire headquarters, for free.
F. Ball's Training Courses
Our free training courses, which run year-round, are led by experts from the company’s dedicated training department. They are designed to instil the highest levels of professional standards and knowledge of best practice flooring installation techniques to help flooring professionals work to ever higher customer expectations with increasing ease and efficiency.
Courses cover subfloor preparation, moisture measurement/control and adhesive selection and include specialist courses for apprentices just starting out through to the most experienced contractors, flooring retailers and wholesalers. In addition, we offer courses on the installation of particular floorcoverings, such as LVTs, often working in conjunction with leading floorcovering manufacturers.
Content has been developed to offer a dynamic, hands-on learning experience through practical demonstrations and exercises using a range of high-performance F. Ball products.
Everyone attending a course is offered the opportunity to take a guided tour of F. Ball’s production facilities to gain a better appreciation of the technical knowledge and processes involved in manufacturing the company’s products.
On completion of a course, delegates receive a certificate of attainment from the F. Ball Centre of Excellence and a free F. Ball toolkit. Refreshments and lunch are provided for free.
