Double appointment at F. Ball

Following a reorganisation at F. Ball and Co. Ltd., Darren Kenyon has been promoted to the role of National Sales Manager. Darren previously held the role of Business Development Manager at F. Ball and fills the position formerly held by Paul Starkey, who has taken on the role of Liaison Manager due to the forthcoming retirement of Graham Wildgoose.

As National Sales Manager, Darren will be responsible for the national sales team that covers the UK and Ireland, offering advice and on-site technical support to flooring contractors. He will also be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with the company’s network of around 130 distributors and will use the experience and expertise gained from 14 years at F. Ball to help retain the company’s position as the UK’s leading manufacturer of flooring products.

Paul, taking on the position of Liaison Manager after 16 years at the company, will be a key figure in maintaining F. Ball’s vital relationships with leading international floorcovering manufacturers. In this pivotal role, Paul will act as a crucial link between F. Ball and floorcovering manufacturers and will use this contact with manufacturers, along with his own in depth knowledge of F. Ball products and the flooring industry, to help to further the development of the F. Ball Recommended Adhesives Guide.

David Hibbert, F. Ball Sales Director, said of the appointments: “Paul and Darren are both great assets to F. Ball, and I am confident that their knowledge and experience will be invaluable in helping us to continue bringing the very best in service and support to contractors and manufacturers across the country and beyond.”
