Under pressure to complete flooring installation despite a wet concrete slab, Middlesex Flooring used 1,000 m² of F. Ball’s Isolator membrane to allow work to continue without delay. The Isolator formed part of a larger contract at the new Paddington Academy, West London. Styccobond F47 Pressure Sensitive adhesive, specially developed for use with Isolator, was then used to secure Polyflor’s Polysafe Standard heavy-duty flexible vinyl sheet safety flooring.
The contract also involved the use of F. Ball’s Stopgap 300 Heavy Duty floor smoothing underlayment and Green Bag / 114 Latex floor smoothing underlayment in various ground floor areas. 4,000 m² of vinyl sheet was also secured with Styccobond F46 Pressure Sensitive adhesive.
To complete the contract, Middlesex Flooring then installed 5,000m² of CFS Carpets’ Precision 24 heavy contract carpet tiles on ground and first floor areas. This was carried out using F41 carpet tile tackifier to prevent the loose lay tiles from moving.
